| The school has many different musical instruments for hire and itinerant music teachers offer expert tuition in these. Instrumental tuition is available for all year levels. | |||||
| Instruments taught include drums, guitar, brass, woodwind and keyboard. | |||||
| The Smokefree Rockquest is an annual event with as many as three student-led bands entering the competition. | |||||
| The talent quest is always well entered and our students go on to regional events. | |||||

| In
addition to teaching academic courses in Drama, the school comes together for a school production every two years. |

| Kapa Haka is growing in strength in the College with a group of nearly 40 students who practice twice a week. | |||||
| This is further enhanced by the Te Waharoa Performing Arts course offered in the senior school. | |||||
